mmmmmmmm caps

that's what "red sea" sell.. .its just a mix of yeast sugar + water (you supply the water) its like brewing beer, if you have trouble finding the stuff go to a supermarket where you can get home brew.

Without the good results :D

5 bottles? how many plants do you have?

Use 4 bottles, started on week apart and alternate so you have continuous feed (flow).

They last 2-3wks.

Search the DIY section.

I'll tell you now that won't work. You will need at least 3-4 2 liter bottles. As well as diffusors for each bottle which can run $100 on there own. If you want to rotate them, every couple days will be the best. They do not last 2-3 weeks, more like ~5 days of good output. $150 is a lot of money for a basic pressurized CO2 system. Check Here for the basics about pressurized co2. You do not need to have a pH controller in order to have this system. You can easily get away with 70-90 for the reg/sol/pin/bubble couter combo set.

I believe he said cheap, and that falls under the DIY class :D .

Using an air stone & placing an inverted dish shaped plate over tha air stone to catch the co2 for more dwell time.

What we really need to know is what is hegofloben doing with this tank.

If we're talking a planted show tank Wyldfya's right.

If this is just setting in his bedroom with a few amason swords and some beard algae he likes, $150 is expensive.

How about it hegofloben are you awake yet?... give us the info...
