ack. stop the caps......

Ok, ok, but can you make beer from whats left in the co2 bottle? :D
Actually using the reaction method, you could brew beer, but it wouldn't turn out too good, as the co2 release is too slow. Using the common sugar and yeast you come out with ethanol though.

Look to anubias for your tank.

I took a old gravel siphon drilled holes in the top, ran air lines through them. attached air stones to the air lines inside the siphon, siliconed a sponge cut to fit tightly (but not to tight to restict water flow) about 2 inches up the siphon, shortened the siphon hose and attached a power head. Do that. Mix up your sugar and yeast brew, hook em up cheap state of the art diffuser.:headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2

It works awsome if you mix the brew right it will pump good out put fo about 1.5 weeks. You will have to experiment to find the correct rotation for brew change on your tank, But remeber you will have to monitor it as every newly mixed brew is unique some will last longer some wont. don't ever let anyone deter you from DIY. Thats how you learn the most.

I forgot to mention I also added bio ball in in the siphon to swirl the water around and help diffuse the bubbles

Instead of spending 20 dollars, go buy a red-sea c02 difuser for 15!! : D
