diy co2 recipe?

im going to just try the gallon bottle all it can do it fail and then just bake a cake with the left over mats

I was redoing my DIY co2 yesterday and i was thinking, in theory if you used a larger container but kept the same amounts of sugar and yeast, but used a lot more water, like double, it would dilute the alcohol when produced and in Theory make the yeast live longer, but like a said it was just a theory i had yesterday, i might try and see what happens.

ok i used a 1gallon arizona tea bottle and doubled the 2liter recipe and didnt get much pressure at all in 12hours so i added 2 more cups of warm water and 1/2 tsp of dry yeast and lemme tell you what its doing good. added a valve to slow the flow a little bit. been 4 days now with constant bubbles. will report back when the bottle pops or when the reaction stops
