DIY EGGCRATE DIVIDER

Well.. this morning I found my male AGAIN on the side with the female because apparaently he went under and pushed the bottom since there is no support on the bottom

How do you cut pvc to make it border this stuff? I have to cut two slits right? so that I can make it fit?
 
so I have to get the 400 Series XPR Rotary Tool and that cutoff wheel?

which ones? There seems to be different kits for the 400 Series XPR Rotary Tool and the cutoff wheel .. there are a few options for that as well
 
You dont need there best model,thats just the one I linked,any will do.
& the cheepest cutoff wheel will work.
 
Actually.. I dont think I need anything else... zip-tieing the frame to the support brace is working pretty welll

I had the same problem... so i said F it. I just used the suction cups for an old bubble want and tie wrapped em to the crate.... works even better with less gap.
 
I found some clippers in the toolsection of home depot. They are made by cresent. I will take a picture and post it later but they are great for cutting eggcrate
 
I just use wire clippers, and if i had a file at my apt I would use that for a little more precision and for smoothing sharp edges. I've been improvising and just using a sharp knife, but it's easier to break the eggcrate with a knife. If the suction clips don't work just make a pvc frame like some one else said and zip tie it to the eggcrate and drill holes in the outside of the pvc frame and jam some suction cups in them.
