I bought a lot of ghost shrimps today and put them in a 15 gallon container with some rocks, pebbles and an anubis plant..
Unfortunately, the shrimps all died and only a few really tiny ones survived.. The problem is I only have space in the bathroom to put the container but there's no power outlet..
Long story short, I need to make a filter that doesn't run on electricity.. Any ideas would be appreciated..
Thanks in advance..

Battery probably suck the life out of you. It would be cheaper to have an electrician put in another outlet to be best bet. Pretty sure a battery powered won't be worth crap and just drain your wallet.

put a small hob filter on the tank then get a hamster wheel and make some sort of generator so when the hamster runs on the wheel then the hamster will power the generator then the generator will power the filter :)

some electricity is needed, try sponge filter pulling the airline from the next available power point .

brilliant! even if the wheel would just churn the water that would help. add plants and stock accordingly. after all we are talking about shrimp right

Ok ! Since we are discussing brilliant plans , why not put it under a leaky tap and be done with ! Afterall it's in the bathroom :D
