DIY Filtration....?

Hey guys thanks for the info...I think I may do that after the New Year as a little project (unless I find a sweet deal on a canister or something...)

I did fail to consider one thing though, there's no WAY I am fitting my 55 under my stand without being able to move it out and I'd have to drain the entire tank to move it....If I were to post it on CL and trade it for a 30 and a little bit of cash, would that still be sufficient filtration? I wish I was thinking of it before I got my tank up and going and I could have just had it down there...oh well, live and learn right? :nilly:
 
yea, a 30 will probably work for a 150. It really depends on how much water your tank will continue to flow if you lose power. I think you'll be fine though.
