Ill simply remove 3 of the screws, disconnect the pump an replace the batteries, then pace the pump in the same position and carefully put the screws back in (so I dont strip the holes).

Great job, now go catch a Monster and bring it home!!!

you can also keep a sponge filter cycled in one of your tanks and use it for a filtered fish hauler. My payara made it almost 48 hours using a sponge filter instead of an air stone:D. I do use air stones for shorter trips and it works great.

Good work man, nice and clean.

I never thought about that, I have 1 in each of my sumps to. Great Idea thanks :nilly:

Ok so my cheapo air pipe thing didnt work out as well as I hoped. Since once the pump was shut off it filled with water an the battery pump doesnt have enough power to get all the water out, so I got a slighty better air stone.

An I finally got around to adding a strap to secure the lid (incase of a rowdy fish). that I scavenged off of a fanny pack I found.

I think I may put a Temp gauge on it to, but im still on the fence with that.

a heater might help as well for long trips but ebing that its a cooler you could just bump up the temp of water befor you left(assuming your moving fish from housee to destination) and it would be a little while before u needed to re-heat.

awesome! I am going out to do the same thing. BUT I will use a power converter so the pump and heater! thanks for the ideas!

Great thought! I have a digital thermometer on mine and it's worth every penny. It gives you extra peace of mind.

Great job, I have a inverter in my car, so i just plug in over sized air pumps and filters to the coolers and away I go!
