I can always change it later, but I have it so low so the flow is across the sand pushing large particles of poo towards the intake... My turtle creates a lot of waste. It's more effective.
I remember looking at my output on my 304 going.... Why the hell would they kink it all up like that? Id rather have maximum flow... Just like the spray bar on my Eheim I drilled more holes in it since it shot water like a fire hydrant. I think it has more flow now.
