DIY LED hanging fixture

heres a picture of how I had the led and drivers worked up.
the wire leading out of picture is the plugin. I also did this with just one driver/led at a time and none worked.


I sent the seller a link for the led's and he said that his drivers wont work for them, but he told me which ones would so I ordered them yesterday. (same cost) from his website.

Okay idk if you've tried this already but try switching the wires on the AC part of the driver around. Idk why that guy said they won't work for those lights they should.

And do you have the wires soldered to the led or just stuck in the little holes?

stuck them thru the holes and wrapped them back around tight, should have had plenty of contact?

I did try reversing ac. Im not really sure what the difference was between the ones I had and the ones the seller told me I need to use but they are on the way so I hope it works.

I was working on my lights and disconnected the led from the driver while it was still on and I got the buzzing noise. I really think you should try soldering the wire to the led.

I got new drivers headed my way, ill make sure to solder the first time, that would be a hilariuos fail on my part if that was all that was preventing my lights from working!

Well ive got the blue leds working, no solder and they work but im gonna solder them anyways.
They are intense!only thing is the dimmer wont shut them off just brings them to a flicker. Can it be adjusted?

It should turn them completely off. Try hooking just one driver up to the dimmer then from the dimmer run a positive wire to each of the LEDs and a negative to each of the LEDs. I'm thinking the two drivers might be too much for the dimmer

unfortunately that is how I have it hooked up. If it cant be changed Ill put in a switch for it.

Got the white working!!!! so bright!!!! now I can build the fixture!!!! I did blow up one led but have another on the way (operator error)
