It took me 3 hours to finish this light. My fish look flawless after turn it on.

You gotta give us some details. How'd you make it? What bulb size and temp? Bought at Home Depot? Cost?

Yes it is. Acrylic from Home Depot for $22 and LED strips from Amazon for $85. Total is $107.

Nice! By the way I would fix that brace in your tank before something bad happens. Just JB WELD it.

No it not. I'm afraid about thoese stuff. I hear many complains about thoese power may get fire. My strips make in korea, with 2 year warranty, so it is pricey, $80 for 50 chips.

I've never heard about any fire issues with these Ebay units. These are the ones UruaJoey used on his video and I have a buddy that's been using these for a couple of years now as well.

Nice Build, but the acrylic plate will bend after a few months !

I would prefer to use glass or polycarbonate double vertical plates for the strips.
