DIY Overflow and sump

Well heres one single pic of my overflow I built with the help of a former mfk member tonight. I will be working on the sump through out the weekend and maybe next week and will post some pics

Well, started on the sump today. Didn't really get anything done except for gluing in one piece of acrylic :-\

My old 29 will house the sump

Marking and getting ready to cut some acrylic

Ready to cut!

My crappy tube of silicone... (going to get the larger one you can fit in a tube gun thing. (whatever they're called)

My garbage silicone job, will go over it tomorrow.

First piece of acrylic installed! O0

Will get some more pics tomorrow and hopefully get a little bit farther into finishing my sump.

Here is a little DIY tool I came up with for getting the silicone to go where I want it to.

Haha yea thats what a meant by tube gun thing, my dads got an electric one I'll try and use that.

For this job I would use a regular gun.
The power gun maybe to bulking & hard to control the flow.
