DIY Overflow and sump

Well the sump will have to hold off until tomorrow, I accidentally bought black silicone:irked:

My sump is basically looking like a mini verion of JustLookings 55 gallon sump...

My black silicone, have to get clear tomorrow:irked:

Put in the egg crate and sponges and finished the chamber, just have to silicone everything in tomorrow and make the drip plate, and add bio media!

Update...

I used a 1/2" bit connected to my extremely crappy screw gun which can only do about 8-10 holes on one charge.

First water test with just a few bioballs. just checking for leaks between the chambers.

Oh yea the sump doesn't fit under my stand:irked:
 
man whats wrong with the black stuff?, if you get ich it doesnt turn green..., i wish all my tanks where made with black, my little one is and i love it.
