diy overflow help

1 inch pvc and no in my 75 gallon it only goes about 3/4 of the way down

k so if ibuild this for my 210 how big of pvc would i need? 1"? 1.5"? pump will be in the 1000gph range. and are there certain pvc specs i would need or as long as it looks like the pic?

I would use 2 1" ones.

i have 2 1" pvc overflows on my 150. works great.

and if i run one? 1.5-2inches? im tryin to minimize the extras in my tank.. but if i have to i guess id have to do two

I've heard that they dont work well when you go above 1". Something about them getting air locks IIRC. It might be worth a shot to try 1.5, I've never done it.

you can try it but as rally said they are not that stable above 1 inch

i myself would use 2 1" ones

but if you want to try 1.5" what are you out 10-15 bucks worth of pvc just do yourself a favor and test it outside.
