Im thinking which mag pump I would use. In a DIY wert/dry filter/

Its for a 90 gallon piranah tank.

Why did you decide to make the inlet so low and the outlet so high?

Well be be honest. No I have no reason.
If it effects it some how, Id change it up.
Do you see a flaw?

Well the height of the inflow determines the height of the water level in the tank.

The breather pipe needs only be 1 or 2 inches above the middle section.

And the lower the outflow position the greater the volume of flow. Most people place the outflow 'T' at the very bottom allowable.

Curiosity question, Is that an Elmer's Glue bottle in the Photo ?
I'm not saying it won't work, I'm just curious.

Ill move the Outflow a little lower,.
I plan on cutting the really long peice (i think u called a breather pipe).


the whole system is 1Inch , but the ball valve is 3/4"
Sould i just g oout and find one in 1" - will it make that a difference.
