just thought id share this with MFK since this is where i got the inspiration to do this project :headbang2

let me know what you think :)

the outside dimensions of the pond is 6'x4'x20"

pond is made from 18mm plywood, supported and braced with 2x2's and its lined with polystyrene to help with insulation
the liner is made by Firestone and is 1mm thick and very tough

the filter was £16 ($30ish) and is filled with filter floss, 2 layers of sponge, around 150 pot scrubbers, and a sh1tload of k1 bio media (i'll be adding more soon)
the pump is 2000lph and shifts a decent amount of water but will probably be upgraded one day ....i'll also be putting a fluval fx5 onto the pond for extra filtration

the air pump is a little over kill tbh and im gonna replace it as it pumps 50L a minuet and turns the pond into a jacuzzi :D

the pond will eventually house 2 stingrays (maybe motoros) but is currently occupied by a 12"+ koi

sorry for the pics being out of sequence, dont know why its done that :screwy:
