That's a pretty good set-up. Can you post your water paremeters and any full tank shots of the top? I started with something similar on one of tanks. My 125g only has a 16''x3'' grid of eggcrate with pothos; I haven't taken the full lid plunge.

Moving my pothos from the corner to the center or ends of the tank really caused impressive root growth. I am assuming better access to nutrients from the water flow. Interestingly, I put the pothos in the corner (a water flow 'dead zone') thinking that the lesser flow would result in better contact time.
interesting thoughts. I will have to wait till tonight for more pics, I thought i had more on my phone. I'm contemplating doing the other side as well.
What is your fish stock? My school of loaches and sometimes the tin foils munches on the exposed roots. Strangely, my albino sailfin has stayed away(I would know if he didn't)
