I have searched this site for a while and maybe I am putting in the wrong search words.

I wanted to know how to make my own python. It looks pretty simple. I know I could probably get all the parts from home depot. It all is a matter of gravity... please tell me the basics of it and I will go from there. If the price works out to be like a matter of like only a $10 difference I will go and get the python.. but if the savings is substantial i will just go and buy it. the bottom line is that I am versed in home impovement products... just let me know what ones we need.
 
The most crucial part is the Tee. You can buy them at some department stores and waterbed stores. It is used to drain and fill the water from the faucet , they usually run about ten bucks. Garden hose is alot cheaper than the clear hose from a hardware store so i would opt for that. the garden hose should screw to the drain tee but for the other end i would get an adapter and/or ball valve and run an existing gravel vac sweeper to the end of the hose.
 
I am gonna build one soon. I will be using my existing python, but want to build a new siphon tee. Will start a thread.
