I want to make a diy python but idk what tipe of hose i should use? would a regular garden hose work or would i need some othere kind?

i yous a garden house and a pop bottle just run the hose out a window scup up some water with the pop bottle and the syphen will start.

I made mine with the replacement faucet adapter from aqueon ($10), clear tubing from lowes plumbing dept ($0.50/ft), and the end of my old gravel vac. Works great and was cheap and easy to build.

You can go to Home Depot or Lowes and Purchase Clear Tubing by the foot. IN small to about 3" ID.... It's VERY cheap as well! Less expensive that Buying a Python or a Ganrden hose!

I have a old faucet adapter that came with a water bed we had. That im going to use but im not sure that tubing will work with it? I will need about 50 feet of to tubeing to so that $25 and and 50 foot hose cost about the same. So ill have to see what works with the adaptor

HA! I got you both beat.......

I took and old garden hose end (about 3ft worth. The rest was garbage), purchased a coupler for 1.50 and attached that to the end of the hose that I got from Home Depot for like .10 a ft or something like that... It was a long time ago... but still :woot:
