Here are some OLD pics. The snake has now moved on to a bigger enclosure that is built the same ay. I will try to get some new pics up tomorrow.

You have to take the acrylic sheeting out every time, or did you do it so it could slide sideways? Pretty snake :)

very nice! yea i was thinking of adding suports so it could support my 55 gal. the dresser has supported the tank in the past but im afraid i might have weakened it. at first i thought just the fact of not having the the draws supporting the weight but they could slide in and out with the tank there so they didnt support any weight.

with your tank it looks like there was a pad lock with the acrylic on a hindge or did u slide it up and down?

yea i was also worried alittle about wood root and i was gonna ask about that since this will be a beardie tank with high heat and little to no moisture and alot of ventilation. you can see the whole top 8 inchs will be open, thats where my lights will be. i was also planing on adding two holes in the back with a screen covering to add alittle more ventilation. so will mildew and wood root be that big of a problem?

haha i love how this project started for a cheap tank and just to fill the time but now its turning into this huge project.
