DIY Return for w/d sumps?? A little help....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
U can use the 90's to get the pvc into the tank and then use loc line nozzles to aim it where you need or split it to have more nozzles.

And dont forget the syphon brake hole!

My return below. Soft hose from the pump to the 3/4" PVC return. Krylon Fusion flat black paint.

Follow everyones advice by drilling the syphon break. Advice though, drill in the back so you can't see it and drill hole just under where the water level will be. Otherwise you will hear a constant water splashing sound. :irked:

i have the same in the bedroom tank very relaxing

I just have a 3 elbow design and I find that it does not agitate the suface as much as I would like, so I currently use a diy spraybar that was just 2 90's, a piece of pvc that goes along most of the back wall of my tank, and a cap on the end. The pipe is drilled with holes all along the side so they spray the surface across...
