Steve, I would google Bill Wann's 20,000 gallon build. He has a very detailed build thread out there on another forum. The foot print of his tank is similar, just much taller since his is a reef. It will give you an idea of what went into the construction and filtration. Some of his components are very high-end like you would typically see in public aquaria, but the concept is all the same. You could make yours as simple or as complex as you want it to be.
