I'm looking to do something fun and interesting with my the tank I'm going to be setting up. I think I'll also do sand instead of gravel...hmm.
Anyways, it can't be anything giant, as the tank is only a 20 gallon. But what are some fun, easy decorations that you can do yourself? Something for the fish to hide in, maybe.
Thanks!

Adri

Get some PVC pipe, cut it in half down the middle spread some silicone on it and cover it with some of your substrate so it matches and you have a cheap cave that can come in many different sizes for different fish.

It'd have to be 100% silicone, G.E. Silicone I is what it is called in Home Deopt. Just let it dry for 24 hours then set it in a bucket of water for 24 hours and you're good to place it afterwards.

I read somewhere that wood you've picked up yourself can contain toxins/bad stuff that would leak out into the aquarium?

All driftwood leak tannins, you just have to soak the driftwood in water until it stops leaking tannins...boiling and scrubbing will also speed up the process
