DIY Stand !First time with wood!

Okay fellas, i looked over many of the threads of DIY stand and decided to take the challenge. I liked to thank Shelby and Pharaoh for helping out me out. First time working with circular saw, miter saw, and jigsaw, so don't mind the overhead cutting. Here are the pics. What do you guys think? Sturdy?

This is for a 90 ( 48x18x24) and i intend on doing the canopy as well.

That looks fine, maybe another coat of paint. See you are having troubles with the date on your camera. LOL Do you still have all your fingers? The stand looks pretty strong, is it for a 90?

Yeah, I'm waiting till i'm done with the staining, then I'll attach the doors.

bahaha! yeah, Took me a couple years, but i got it! I'm going to add a couple more coats, then finish off the edging and apply polyutherane(sp?)!

Would have never guessed it was your first time using power tools, you did a great job. You couldn't have picked two better "assistants".

Are you planning on putting foam board between the stand and the tank?

That stand came out great. It's always good to overbuild stands in my opinion.
I just hope you didn't catch the wood working bug. LOL
That hobby is more exspensive than fish keeping. LOL

I can't wait to see it when it is finished.
Next is the canopy right? You are going to have one cool setup when your finished!
