DIY stand height

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Druu if you have built the stand and get the tank setup and it feels unstable you can ancor it to the wall pretty easily. It is amazing how stable it will be with this wall anchor. The wall anchor requires not more then a 1/4" hole in the wall.

I'm hoping the ring of 4x4s does it for me. Going all fancy on those and making 45 degree cuts instead of overlapping the front and rear pieces over the sides :D (Can't we all tell that I'm an amateur at woodworking!?) Hopefully the corner works too. Anchoring is not an option for me as it'll be an apartment for school and I don't think I'm allowed to even put thumbtacks into the wall :(

Your not allowed to speak in dru's threads unless it's answering one of his question. Even if it is pertinent to the subject and the answer could help him.

So next time just start your on thread and we will be more than glad to help you out with any of your endeavors.

If you have questions you would like a certain MOD to answer, please, feel free to address it i a PM to him or her or if it is another member you can do the same.

If you should have a problem with any member, there is a report button on the left hand side under the posters name at the bottom of the post, it is a white triangle with an ! in it. Just click on it and you make a formal complaint about that poster's post just like dru did about your's. If you should have any problems with using the report function you could PM dru (he has frequent experience in using the report function) or one of the MOD's.

Hope this clears this whole "hijack post" thing for you and hope to hear from you in your own posts in the near future.

Thanks for joining and posting.
