Make me want.to do a diy project last time I started one my trend Jumed in and took over now I got a sketchy stand under a 300 gall. Love they way your stand looks . Did u free hand those pictures or stencil?
I WISH i could draw like that! Stencils. I found pictures i liked, printed out on normal paper(though something thicker would've been easier), cut them out strategically with exacto knife, taped on the stencils, sponged them on. After i got the hang of sponging. It's pretty easy. The cutting is the most time consuming. Took me probably 4hrs to cut out the gar and bass. U have to go slow and b precise. Even little imperfections show up. Didn't think they would... Lucky for me, i like doing tasks that r like that. But if u don't have patience, don't do a complicated stencil. Even the various small fish took an hr or more each. Fin points on crappie, sunfish, perch, and whiskers on the catfish. Gar was tough cause of the mouth. Bass took the longest, obviously the most detailed. But happy i took the time. I went over errors with a qtip with the black paint on it. Fixed some drips.
