I finally got started on my sump for my 40g freshwater tank today. I'm using an old 10g due to the fact that I don't have much space in the tank stand. I built the overflow using the design off of another thread on here, it works perfectly.

http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15733

I'm using 3/4" pond hose to connect the overflow to the sump and then from the pump back to the spraybars in the tank. Haven't started building the sump itself cause i'm waiting on the pump and the bio-balls I ordered to arrive. This is the first sump i've ever built so hopefully I planned everything out right. I'll get some pics up tommorrow and add more as I build it.

I'll try to do progress pics if I can.

Come on really I don't live on this site.
My work schedule has been crappy so I didn't get a chance to get much done last week but I did work on it this weekend and if I can get it to work I have some pics.

And I'm in Panama City FL for those who care (Dr Joe)

Here's my lovely homemade overflow box
