id rather do bioballs and pot scrubbies and then live rock in another compartment and then run it thru some carbon and back to the aquarium. ill whip up my design on pain then post it.
 
Is that 20-long, now? If that's still the 10-gal, then make the bio-ball compartment a lot bigger. Depending on if you're going FOWLR or Reef, i would make the fuge part bigger as well. FOWLR: big bioball compartment; Reef: big fuge. Hope you're going with the 20-long... looks good otherwise!

ok and yes ill try to use my 20L but thats only if i can get a 29 to use in place of it. and its not a reef tank but i want as much live rock as i can get and still have plenty of room incase the power goes out for enough water to drain so it stops the siphon into the sump. thats why i have all that extra room
