kind of worried the crate i have might be contaminated with car seat cleaner just remembered the seats looked shiney and its where it was setting
i do also have the cross stitch mesh too but only 4 sheets i kind of think the fish i have would swim through the egg crate i have they still really small

I will be making one of these soon and just seen this thread. Purchased 1/2 pcs and all the fittings this past weekend. I have some semi big fish that can knock over an divider if they wanted.
The trick for me is my cut out is very small and the divider will be 24"x30". I will have to assemble it in the tank with an aimara. I will also paint the PVC black since visible PVC annoys me.
I'll post by build when I complete it.
Eggcrate is found at Home Depot or Lowes. Its in the Lighting department.

It sounds like just what I need right now as my greedyass pinima cichla prevents the other fish from eating as it dashes around catching all of the pellets that I drop in.
Lmao. I've used it during feeding time too to bulk up the runts. Slides in and out easy. A little more work if you need something permanent
