Hello, I am getting ready to start my first plywood tank build. Its going to take a while, but once i get the details figured out it should not take to long. My biggest stand still part right now is figuring out what epoxy is a good choice to use? Has anyone used an epoxy called Coat IT? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So I am wondering if anyone has experience using Coat-it by goop? and to give you an example of what I have planned I have gutted a console tv. I am planning on make a fish tank inside it. Let me know what you think.

Thats cool as hell. Ive always wanted to do something like that. Please keep us posted.

I am getting excited. There are just a few things holding me up. One is deciding on what epoxy to use. The last is my friend, who broke a pane of glass from his 55gal. is going to give me to broken piece. So we are going to make him a tank using the other 3 pieces and mine with the broken one. Hoping to get the glass by this weekend and get going on this real soon. before i get to busy with work.

What would be REALLY awesome would be if you glued PCBs and electrical components (wires etc) to the inside of the TV and then sealed it all with a clear sealant. That way it would really look like the fish were swimming around in a waterlogged TV!!

From how I've seen others do this, it's basically just a tank built to fit inside of the tv frame.. Cool as hell though, good luck.

Well my plan was to wire everything so you cant see the electric lines. I will have to scan in my plans, cause i thought about just putting a tank inside, but whats the fun in just placing a tank in.
