venting and puting a check valve in sounds like a ticket
No on both.

Venting it the way you described will make it worse. Secondly that is what you already did with the first one. Adding a second one won't help or solve the problem.

I am clueless how you came up with a check valve, but either type won't do anything. I don't know which type you were talking about but a check valve only controls the direction of flow. That isn't an issue here so....

Replace either of the 90's with a tee. If you are worried about a small fish from getting sucked in, glue on a piece of screen to the open end.

heres the end project it acctually works good basicly mad a bubble trap air rises and the check valve keeps it from sucking air into the vent

Just seconds ago I was in another thread gone awry and swore to myself that the internet has gone through some strange portal and I was posting into another dimension where physics had no meaning. Now I am certain it is true.

Anyway, not to take the wind out of your sails, but what you really did was you weighted the pipe down so that the intake was lower in the water. If you replace the check valve with a cap, nothing will change.

All you really had to do was add more water to replace what had evaporated. When more water evaporates, you'll be back at square one.
