Size of the holes might depend on your flow rate. Start small and if they are too small then go up in size. Its much better than going too big and then not having the water spread over the draw evenly.

now i have a 30gph pump
and im just running to make sure its good..

placeinf order for 800gph pump and overflow tommrow..
its still a bit nosiy,, but i guess when i get some filter floss and foam in there it will quiet down.
