WoW!!! Can wait to he gets back into Cichla...lol...still got my fingers crossed

nice vid...i would love some snakes, but my wife would kill me...i don't think i would have the balls to piss off a cobra like that though...side note- when i was 9 yrs old i had a 12' bermise python try to bite my face it was wraped all around me and got 2" from my face mouth wide open...ever since i have a wicked fasination with big snakes...the female python was about to shed so it was iritable, normally cool with me though...it was my neighbors snake...

There is one thing i dont get about snake guys. Do they EVER provide a realistic environment? Ive seen so many people keep them in drawers on newspaper. Does no one want to just give them a realistic, spacious home? That beautiful white cobra lives a tupperware tote, not even appreciated or able to even be fooled momentarily that it is a wild creature. Just an observation not trying to start a flame war.

The way I see it, he moves from one hobby to the next and its usually an upshift. I wonder what he's gonna do next...

The reason they do that is because one of the keys to a healty snake its a clean envoirement and except when you have display in mind it really makes more sence housing them in a rater simple envoirement. That makes it so much easier to control health, waist, shed skin, etc. Its inportant to remenbar that many snakes including cobras spend more then half of their lifes wraped in holes in the group, tree trunks, etc and they really dont care, captivity has litle inpact on their lifes, if they have the space to strech out they are ok. On the oposite if you provide a big naturalistic setting, there is the risk that the snake will remain 90% of the time in its fav corner and only very ocasionaly come out to explore.
