There is one thing i dont get about snake guys. Do they EVER provide a realistic environment? Ive seen so many people keep them in drawers on newspaper. Does no one want to just give them a realistic, spacious home? That beautiful white cobra lives a tupperware tote, not even appreciated or able to even be fooled momentarily that it is a wild creature. Just an observation not trying to start a flame war.

The Snakes in this Vid aren't Scotts...as stated in the vid. Check out Scotts Albums on Myspace, I'm sure your concerns will be addressed ;)

Wasn't DMACK a reptile guy before cichla?

That he was.

Hey guys
nice to see you all,yes before cichla I was hardcore snake guy for years and now have fell back into the mix with around 75-80 or so venomous snakes, mostly rattlers and misc true vipers.I do have many naturalistic displays set up,but most of my breeders ect are housed simple with substrate, water dish, and a hide..this is done mainly for health reasons and when working with venomous snakes you dont want too much obstruction within the enclosure to cause hazzards for yourself, this is especially important since most are cleaned every 3-4 days and require removal from their quarters...the naturalistic enclosures are cleaned less frequently but house mainly bush vipers and one large rock rattler enclosure, but again a risky chore to remove them. I have a ton of pics on myspace of alot of the snakes, just click the add request and let me know who you are or that you came there from mfk :) alot of cool pics to browse through. here is a vid with photos of some of my horned bush vipers I put up today, they are all set up in naturalistic environments.
