Do all jaguar cichlids have teeth???

Hi I have a 16 inch male jaguar cichlid and he has no teeth but every time I see other jags they have those crazy teeth is it just mine with no teeth or do some have them and some don't ??????... Any info would be much appreciated thanks

Lol he has teeth, his lips are jut larger and overlap. Some jags have bigger teeth than others, but if its pure jag it'll have teeth. Even if he would lose them somehow they would grow back.

All jags will grow teeth at some point. I've never heard of a jag without teeth

Teeth in he throat are a characteristic of cichlids. Pharyngeal teeth. The teeth you can see are pseudo canines. These are used to grab prey but not actually process it for digestion.
