i think its the aro way of adjusting/evolving on the enviromental we provide if not caused by gene.
my biggest aro which is about 18 inch has one of his eyes dropped while the other is as good as when he was born, the aro developing the DE about when he was 8-9 inches if im my memory serves me right. and slowly getting worse.
on other hand i have wild silver aro which i kept since she was 2 inch and she is about 8 inches and still has perfectly line up eyes. oh yeah i have been watching them very closely and tightly and both eyes r very active looking around.
when i was kid/teen i do not remember seeing any silver aros with DE..
