dude they def have teeth. i knew it looks like a beak but trust me...mine bit me once. luckily it was only a baby

I feed my 15” by hand and the other day he got me up to the 1st knuckle. I felt them but no scratches or blood. (Maybe I just got lucky?)

In Thailand they are known to do dolphin punches. An a few nights ago i saw my CK ram my Koi. Felt sorry for the big guy... I guess their head area "skull" is a tuff area for ramming other fish in defense.

The order they (and arowana) belong to, called osteoglossiformes, are called "bony-tongues" in reference to their hard or serrated tongues.

i doubt thats the reason for it.

They definitely got some teeth. I've seen them before. I think all predatory fish have teeth.

when i feed mine shrimp,, he will bite them and rip them up, they have teeth for gripping and cutting
