Do clown Loaches clean other cichlids?

But he is the largest of the group and the only one out of the 5 that does it.

He doesn't do it to any of the others.

Perhaps the black bar coloration has something to do it as you suggested.

Just going on the two stills it looks to me like the alpha Loach is investigating a potential rival. Clown Loaches lock mouths when they challenge each other. The black stripes on the cichlid may stimulate the response.
