Do Columbian Sharks breed in captivity?

I think the spawn part is over but hoping the eggs are in DADs mouth now,.not that i need all those colombians..but it sure is something if it happens..thanks !!!!:D
 
a sure way to if the male is holding feed them.. if he doesn't eat.. he holding... when fish are mouth brooders they won't eat...

thats exactly right..so far no mouth brooding going on..because both eat a little..but they still seem like they are in the spawning stage..or something:nilly:
 
well the only thing I would say to do is either do nothing.. or do another water change, and see if that triggers them... other than that it's hard to say...

so far they are still acting the same way..something must have happened in the tank but so far i have no idea what they are doing..but they eat so they have not bred and they eat so they are not feeling bad..i don't know maybe they just change with maturity..
 
cool hope they spawn i'd take out any other tankmates to increase the chance of them getting fry and them liveing plus the two cats will be more focused on each other and make them feel safer

They are pretty much back to normal now so i doubt if it will ever happen..
