Do endli bichirs swim actively like senegals?

I have a senegal that loves to swim all around the tank. I plan to add 2 endlis to the tank now. I was wondering if they swim and are active. I only want fish that swim not something that will stay in one spot and look like a rock

I have an endli that swims aroun d just as much as my 2 senegals. I would recommend getting an endli as they are impressive when swimming or just laying around.

I'd recomend not to mix large lower jaw species ie. endis with smaller upper jaw species the size difference is just to great just my opinion-Anne

Each endli have their own activity level and not just endlis but all individual bichirs even the same species have their own activity level.

I have some hyper active sene and endli and also some lazy sene and endli. The environment such a the temparature, size of tank and decor actually makes them active or just just lazy. Also how much food and how many other bichirs in the tank and how long the lights have been turn on or off.

Mine is very active, easily as much as the senegal but it will depend on the individual fish.

When they're small, they can be active. As they get larger, they become more lethargic.
