Go to any LFS and you’ll see plenty of fish that want to end it all so I think yes
Pretty sure he’s confused on what kind of “fish” monster fish stands for ???
Personally I believe fish can get bored just like any other animal. If your dog or cat can get bored who's to say it's not the same for your fish? I've kept FH's in both bare bottom and decorated tanks and it always seemed to me that, when in a decorated tank, they were willing to swim around and explore more and were more interactive. I used to use a mirror and fishing bobber as entertainment for em too. The mirror allows em to chase off an "intruder" while the bobber gave em something they could smack around without it being dangerous towards to tank itself.
