Do hot sun produce enough carbon dioxide for plants in tank?

Now as for what the sun does for plants, its back to simple biology; Sunlight helps plants with Photosynthesis...

But also as a heads up, natural sunlight in a planted aquarium will most likely cause a lot of algae growth, since you can't control the lighting periods or intensity of the sun when it hits your tank...

The only thing sunlight does for a planted aquarium is provide the plants with a light source, in which they photosynthesize. Sunlight, does not produce CO2. Additionally, a great deal of direct sunlight, is going to cause immense algae growth.
