I've had a Senegal for over a year and it hasn't grown any longer. It has gotten thicker but seems to have maxed out at 7" long. The long fin Senegalus I got from Rich a couple of months ago has already caught up in length. It grew about 2" very quickly.
Do I have a short body?

I don't think it was stunted before. Got it as a skinny little 5"er a year ago and it's lived in this 156 gallon tank ever since. And you say it's a "her"?
