I feed NLS pellets, Massivore Delight and Sinking Carivore Pellets. Also, market shrimp, krill, mysis shrimp and live earthworms.

Water changes--60-70% weekly, no exceptions....whether it needs it or not.

thats a normal body female senegal.Smaller upper jaw species tend to grow very slow once they get 7-8''.Also remember 12'' is stated as the max.wild caught size,theres no easy way to tell thier age in captivity unless you got it very young, let alone in the wild.
could there be bigger example in the that haven't been caught certainly but there are also smaller ones in the wild .The avg size human male is 5'6'' but look at the variations there-Anne

as other all ready said just a fat female senegal looks good though
