Do I have room?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I bought 7 of them to grow out in one of my 55s for a bit then I was gonna sell them. But the more I'm around them the more I like them. Think they would look good in my 125 but I think I would be pushing it too. Was just thinking of adding 4 but I'm on the fence. If I had a 220 I wouldn't hesitate but with this 125 it's a tough call. Even thought about thinning not the clowns to 6 but I just can't I love them things. Now that some are 5 inches their just too fun to watch and how their interaction is with themselves is hysterical.

I wouldn't get rid of any of the clowns either. I had a group of ten in my old 120 and rehomed 4 of them due to lack of space. Their behaviors definitely seemed to be more outgoing the more there are. Got a bigger tank and am now back up to ten. I don't know much of anything when it comes to your other fish. I'd say let your water parameters and tank maintenance be the judge of needing to remove stock or not. For me personally, if I had to do multiple water changes every week to keep everything healthy, I'd be looking at removing fish or upgrading the tank.

+1

That's a very nice looking tank. CLs are going to stay small for quite a while, and there's enough room for your Geos. I'm a little hesitant about the S. daemon - they get to good size and 7 of them is a lot for 6x1.5 footprint with the Geos and acaras. A pair would be a much better option.

No I don't want to put them all in there just maybe 3 or 4. As far as all my water changes just call it OCD. Just got myself in that habit. Always have done it even on my smaller tanks.
