Do I have to add water conditioner if I let the water sit for 2-4 days?

1. Depending on that brand, it eliminates chlorine and chloramine.
2. Eliminates heavy metals.
3. Ensures slime coat production for the fish.

Either way, it is optional. You don't need to use it if you know your water is free from chemicals, etc that would harm your fish.

no offense, but i have no idea what you just said!

I meant that adding water conditioner and using a python is a lot easier and better than having bottles of water sitting around for the next water change.
