It just depends, look at how hard they're finning to stay in place..
I personally would shut some off until you have the bioload that requires the extra filtration.
Got it and great point! Currently the Fluval is running very slowly. I had to regulate it's flow or else it would spit out all the sand inside my Sea Storm Fluidized Bed filter. It's really the power heads that's the issue I suppose. I will turn one off and see how it goes.
