Look both to be Florida, however let them adapt to their environment and their patterns will change. When I first got one of my Tropical Gars he mainly lacked spots, now he's covered in them.

They are not both FLG.. You have one FLG and a Shortnosed.. So yes you have different species..

Oh dam >.<. I sold them already . But I'm getting 3 gars soon! About 8"-9" . I'll need you pros to id them for me again
