Do I need to reinforce my floor?

I'm looking to get my first >55 gallon tank but I don't have space to put it on my first floor (Townhouse).

I'd want a concrete floor for a tank that size. At the very least I'd want it on the first floor with extra pillar supports underneath. I think it's the weight over the course of years that can bow the floor supports. Even if it holds now it could cause long term damage to the structural supports, possibly leading to a failure down the road.
