do Indos need salt added to there tank?

I currently have 6 IT's in a 150g along with an archer and 2 scats.

I keep 1tbsp of solar salt for every 5 gal of water. I know the tigers don't require the salt, but my archer and scats do. I don't see this as a problem for my tigers right now.
Do you think this will cause problems in the furture?

Salt is not neceessary for dats except for the silver dat

actually NGT's and AT's are considered brackish but both do great is freshwater.
