Do Lemon Oscars keep their yellow color?

thinking of getting these, wondering what they look like when mature. Anyone know?

The one I purchased as yellow at just under an 1 1/2 is now about 7 inches and solid orange. Dont get me wrong, he is a gorgeous fish, but I am dissappointed because I wanted yellow and I even asked the company I purchased it from if it would hold its color and I was told it would.
